DJR Express – Delivery & Logistics Services

1. Service Overview
DJR Express provides local and nationwide delivery, courier, and light haulage services. Services include same-day delivery, scheduled collections, and transportation of a variety of items including parcels, documents, furniture, and other goods.2. Bookings & Quotes
- Quotes are provided based on the information supplied by the customer and are subject to change if any details are altered.
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to refuse any job if it is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or violates any legal regulations.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment is due in full upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For business accounts or repeat clients, invoicing terms may be agreed on a case-by-case basis.
- All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellations
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior will be subject to a cancellation fee to cover lost time or travel expenses.
5. Delivery & Liability
- While we take every care to ensure safe and timely delivery, DJR Express is not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, adverse weather, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring that goods are packaged appropriately for transport.
- DJR Express is fully insured with Public Liability and Goods in Transit Insurance. Our liability is limited to the value specified in our insurance policies.
6. Prohibited Items
We do not carry or transport:- Hazardous or illegal materials
- Live animals
- Firearms, ammunition, or explosives
- Perishable goods (unless agreed in advance)
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must ensure accurate pick-up and delivery information is provided.
- Someone must be available at the collection and delivery addresses at the agreed times.
- If no one is available, and redelivery is required, additional charges may apply.
8. Insurance & Claims
- In the rare event of damage or loss, claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of delivery.
- Claims will only be accepted for items that were appropriately packaged and where liability can be established.
